Two buildings named via acronym!
The SOAS Library is, to give it its full name, The School of Oriental & African Studies and is part of the University of London.
The IOE is the Institute of Education, the education school of University College London (UCL).
The buildings are across the road from each other and were both designed by Sir Denys Lasdun.
The IOE is also known as 20 Bedford Way
The IOE buliding work started in 1971, opening on 1975, whiles the SOAS was opened in 1973
